PSYCHOTHERAPY & COUNSELING
why therapy
Why is the telling of your life's stories and current struggles so important? In sharing what you're going through to someone you trust and feel safe with, you are able to release it from within. You become freed from the endless ruminations that never seem to find resolve, and that keep you emotionally stuck and answerless.
The process of therapy is an opportunity for you to be emotionally lighter as you learn how to deal with, or let go of, the situations and relationships in your life that are causing you so much pain, anxiety, sadness, anger, fear, or confusion.
Whether we are exploring the issues in your relationships, work or financial stressors, family / parenting problems, or doing the deeper work of healing from trauma, childhood wounding, long-held fears, grief and loss, or self-identity issues, you and I will partner together to help you feel better through self-discovery and awareness.
feeling safe
It is when you feel safe to be vulnerable and share openly that you discover insights allowing you to move past your current problems and limitations. We go at your own pace. There is never any judgment, but rather I reflect back your true essence, holding the space for you to feel safe to be who you authentically are. This is how real change and growth have an opportunity to naturally take place.
